Patriot Motors and Equipment is looking to hire a full-time, experienced diesel truck mechanic for the Marysville, Ohio, location.
Pay: $23-$45 per hour
Experience: 4-5 years of experience is required
Requirements: Must have own tools
Schedule: Full-Time
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Familiar with a/c maintenance
- Competent in diagnosing and repairing internal engine issues
- Perform inspections, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brak,e and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to diagnose fault codes to initiate repairs
- Complete all required paperwork for job tasks completed
- Provide proper documentation of defects to the supervisor and advise on the severity of the defects
- Complete DOT annual inspections as needed
- Repair any minor defects that are found, such as lights, tires, etc.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedure
